I would give them 1,000 stars if I could . Such a compassionate, knowledgeable, caring , and communicative team. They helped me through a complicated plan of sorting through how to bring our dog abroad with us and we’re just patient and reassuring and went above and beyond with their research and communication. Also incredibly informed about pet health and stewardship. Our family cannot thank them enough.

Everyone at the Animal hospital is friendly. They are gentle and caring when examining my cats. They are also knowledgeable and answer any questions patiently and clearly. The facility is clean and calm and quiet. I can highly recommend the Animal hospital at Ivy Square.

2026 Update: Continue to love this team, which recently and expertly handled a complex dental extraction of my senior dog’s broken canine tooth. They clearly love animals and happily sit on the floor to interact and gain trust before moving into examination. Also, great at communication, whether in person, by phone, or through their texting app. 2025 Previous review: The clinical and support staff at this veterinary practice are so deeply caring and attentive. In the past week, they have seen my senior dog as well as my middle-aged cat, and in both instances the pets and I left feeling like we had been listened to and our needs had been met. Great job, Animal Hospital of Ivy Square!

I have been going to this vet for 8 years and everyone has always been very knowledgeable and kind to my pets. I usually see Dr. James who is amazing and has a very wide scope. I also usually see the tech Jason who is extremely good at handling all kinds of pets. I haven’t had a bad experience here with anyone. Highly recommend.
